Sarria Route
The French Way is the best-known route among the different historical routes that reach Santiago de Compostela (English Way, Portuguese Way, Northern Way, Primitive Way, Vía de la Plata, ...). It has been recognized by the Council of Europe, in 1987, as the 'European Cultural Itinerary' and distinguished by UNESCO, in 1993, as 'Cultural Heritage of Humanity' In 2004 he was awarded the Prince of Asturias Award for Concord.

Santiago de Compostela is the capital of northwest Spain’s Galicia region. It’s known as the culmination of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route, and the alleged burial site of the Biblical apostle St. James. His remains reputedly lie within the Catedral de Santiago de Compostela, consecrated in 1211, whose elaborately carved stone facades open onto grand plazas within the medieval walls of the old town.
ITINERARY
Day 1
Madrid
Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Madrid by private car. Our driver will be waiting for you at
arrival lobby with your name board, and take you directly to the hotel.

Day 2
Madrid, Sarria
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to train station by pax on their own.
Departure to Sarria by train.
Arrival at station and transfer to hotel by pax on their own.

Day 3
Sarria, Portomarín
Breakfast at hotel
Stage 1 of Pilgrimage. the clients will go from Sarria to Portomarín (22 km).

Day 4
Portomarín, Palas de Rei
Stage 2: the clients will go from Portomarín to Palas de Rei (24 km)

Day 5
Palas de Rei, Arzua / A Castañeda
Breakfast at hotel
Stage 3: Pax will go from Palas de Rei to Arzúa / A Castañeda (28 Km).

Day 6
Castañeda/Arzúa , O Pino/Pedrouzo

Stage 4: Pax will go from Castañeda/Arzúa to O Pino/Pedrouzo (20 Km).

O Pino/Pedrouzo, Santiago de Compostela
