Visit over 4 days one of the most prestigious capitals of Europe, Rome, with its Colosseum and the Vatican City St Peter's Basilica. Take advantage also to day trips to Viterbo, a thermal city north of Rome, or Tivoli, a pristine mountain town.
Rome
Rome was called the “Eternal City” by the ancient Romans because they believed that no matter what happened in the rest of the world, the city of Rome would always stand. Exploring the city centre by foot surrounded by glorious monuments and colossal remains takes you back in time to the “glory that was Rome”. With its unparalleled history, Rome is the third most visited city in Europe and the fourteenth worldwide. It attracts visitors from all over the world who are impatient to discover the city’s impressive monuments and archaeological sites; not to mention its renowned cuisine and its lively atmosphere.
Tivoli
Tivoli is a pristine mountain town shrouded in native bush, cascading waterfalls, exquisite gardens and historical sites. Sitting in the Monti Tiburtini hills on the Aniene River, Tivoli enjoys a cooler climate and has been a resort town for Rome’s elite for centuries. With its fair share of historical sites to visit, breathtaking views over the valley and Roman Campagna. The main attractions in Tivoli are its historical villas and parks. Each one is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers its own unique glimpse of history. Nestled atop a terraced hillside in Tivoli, Villa D’Este is most famous for its magnificent fountains, waterfalls and beautifully maintained gardens.
ITINERARY
Day 1
Rome
Arrival at airport and transfer to hotel in Rome by private car.
Our driver will be waiting for you at the arrival lobby with your name board, and take you directly to the hotel.
Free after the arrival.

Stay at our selected 4-star hotel in Rome City centre for 3 nights.
Day 2

Full-Day self-guided tour using Audio POPGuide and 48 hours hop on hop off bus ticket will be provided to you to move around Rome.
We will reserve the entrance for VATICAN MUSEUM in the morning (skipping the queue on request & depends on the situation) The Vatican Museums (Musei Vaticani) is an enormous complex of galleries holding some of Italy’s most important art, from paintings and sculptures to tapestries and classical antiquities.
Adjoining St. Peters Basilica, the Vatican Museums' miles of corridors connect buildings and courtyards housing the Pinacoteca, Egyptian Museum, Gallery of Tapestries, Pius-Clementine Museum, and Gallery of Maps. But the crown jewels are the Sistine Chapel, famous for Michelangelo's ceiling and The Last Judgment, and the 16th-century frescoes in the Raphael Rooms.
Return to hotel and overnight.
Day 3

We will reserve the entrance for COLOSSEUM & ROMAN FORUM in the morning.
The Colosseum has been a symbol of Rome since 80 AD, and today it’s a top monument in Italy. Some 50,000 spectators once gathered in the amphitheatre’s tiered seats to watch gladiatorial games, and though parts of its original marble facade were pilfered over the years to build the likes of St. Peter’s Basilica, the Colosseum remains remarkably intact 2,000 years later.

Day 4

Pick up at the hotel by the driver and departure for the airport.

Sistina Chapel inside the Vatican museum may close suddenly due to religious reason, and it can cause the itinerary change.
Reserved time at the monuments must be respected, and if you are late to show up, the entrance might be rejected and no refund will be given.
Day Extension to Viterbo
Day 4
Rome, Viterbo

Meet with driver in hotel and departure to Viterbo by private car.
The day to be spent visiting the town & enjoying famous TERME VITERBO VISIT: the private car will leave you in the city centre and free walking tour the medieval heart of the city. you will find a breathtaking view of the back of the Palazzo dei Papi. Continue for piazza San Lorenzo the beating heart of Viterbo. From here you can admire the majestic Palazzo dei Papi, the suggestive Cathedral of San Lorenzo and the ancient buildings, such as the Palazzetto di Valentino della Pagnotta. After the visit of Palazzo dei Papi (not included) move to the bridge that connects Piazza San Lorenzo with the rest of the centre and, on the left, you can admire the architectural style of the suggestive Palazzo Farnese. Free time for lunch (not included) & transfer to Terme dei Papi or similar.
** Terme dei Papi Spa used by the popes in the Middle Ages, with a thermal pool, mud treatments and Turkish bath in the cave Terme have to be booked in advance with basic entrance plan (not included)
Return to Rome by private car, arrive in hotel & overnight.
Day Extension to Tivoli
Day 5

Pick up at the hotel by the driver and departure for TIVOLI by private car (disposal for 6 hours).
Half-day self-guided tour visiting the beautiful site of VILLA D’ESTE using “Audio POPGuide” ENGLISH LANGUAGE ONLY. Then lunch at a local restaurant and return to Rome.
