NARA PREFECTURE
Location of
East Nara and Nabari
The Eastern Nara and Nabari area consists of six cities and villages. To efficiently discover and promote the region’s charm, these six cities and villages are working together to promote tourism.
This location is close to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and Nagoya, making it an ideal location for a day trip.
The area is attractive because it offers beautiful nature and facilities that allow you to experience the unspoiled countryside of Japan, which has not been turned into a tourist destination.
Access
By taking the Kintetsu Limited Express, a private railway, you can arrive at Nabari and Haibara stations, the gateways to the Eastern Nara and Nabari areas, in approximately one hour from Osaka and about an hour and a half from Nagoya.
There are numerous attractive accommodations that showcase the unique features of the region, along with abundant tourist spots. We highly recommend staying overnight as it is a great way to experience the area’s rich culture and history.
However, thanks to excellent accessibility, day trips from Nagoya and Osaka are also possible.
